This Coconut Pecan Frosting is so delicious on its own, and it’s such a great complement to anything chocolate. It was originally created as a frosting for The Authentic German’s Chocolate Cake, but over the years it has become a popular frosting for other chocolate recipes, such as these Cocoa Brownies With Coconut Pecan Frosting.

It really doesn’t matter what you frost with this delicious frosting. The frosting is the star in this show!
This frosting is incredibly easy to make. When I make it, I just want to stop everything and get a large spoon and dig in. I don’t need a cake or brownies to transport it to my mouth. A large spoon is just fine!
