- 1 (48-ounce) carton caramel ice cream
- 1 (11.2 ounce) bottle of stout, extra-stout, or blonde beer
- Malt powder, optional
Instructions
- Whip the heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer until it’s stiff and refrigerate while you make the milkshakes.
- Add the ice cream and beer to a blender and blend just for a few seconds until combined.
- Pour the milkshakes into tall glasses and finish with a large dollop of whipped cream.
- Drink immediately.
- Dust with malt powder, optional
Notes
- You can use any type of stout you prefer in this recipe, depending on your taste preference. If you use extra-stout, the stout taste will be very pronounced. Therefore, if you’re not sure of which stout you want to use, you might want to start with regular stout or even blonde.
