Description
This roasted asparagus it the easiest dinner side you will ever make. It only takes about 13 minutes in the oven, it’s perfectly crispy on the outside, and the blend of flavors is excellent!

- 1 pound asparagus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic (I use from a jar)
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese, divided
- Juice of one lemon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Break or cut the woody end off the asparagus. Wash and pat it dry. Place it in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the top, then sprinkle with the salt an pepper. Bake for ten minutes and remove from oven.
- Using your fingers, loosely sprinkle the wet garlic over the asparagus. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of parmesan over the asparagus, then squeeze the lemon juice over it. Bake for 2-3 minutes until the asparagus is crisp on the outside, but tender on the inside. Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle the remaining parmesan over the asparagus and serve immediately.
